SAN MATEO, California — March 20, 2002 — Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), The Internet Performance Authority®, received high praise in two reviews by the respected industry trade publications InfoWorld and Network Computing Magazine as it launched its Web Site Perspective 6.0 benchmarking service . A review appearing in the March 18th issue of InfoWorld states, "The test center judges Keynote's Web Site Perspective 6 an enterprise worthy monitoring and diagnostic service." (http://www.infoworld.com/articles/se/xml/02/03/18/020318sekeynote.xml)

The article, "Global Perspective", continues, "As global companies become more reliant on an Internet presence to drive their businesses, ensuring the ongoing availability and responsiveness of that site becomes increasingly critical." InfoWorld says that Keynote's Web Site Perspective 6.0 "provides a valuable monitoring and diagnostic suite that help maximize the benefits a company derives from its Web site while minimizing the costs" and that it "provides a wealth of knowledge about Web site performance and accessibility. With its rich monitoring capabilities, Perspective provides any Web site administrator with a valuable tool for analyzing and improving site uptime and performance." The magazine concludes that Web Site Perspective, "gives IT staff a global picture of any site's performance, allowing them to reduce the expense incurred by Web site downtime and lag."

Web Site Perspective earns an overall rating by InfoWorld of "Deploy" with high marks for ease of use, implementation, innovation, interoperability, scalability, suitability and training.

In its March 18th article entitled "Web Site Perspective Holds the Key to Performance Monitoring" (http://www.networkcomputing.com/1306/1306sp1.html), Network Computing Magazine says, "Keynote Systems, one of the oldest players in the Web Site monitoring game, has introduced version 6.0 of its service, replete with enhancements to make everyone happy."

The article continues saying, "The diagnostic capabilities of Web Site Perspective are excellent. One of the most useful features in this version is its ability to display both performance and availability on a single page. Unlike most services, Keynote's solution lets you ping, traceroute, and perform a DNS lookup or instant measurement on any URL – not just those you are actively monitoring. This is a great tool for spot-checking problems or issues with your site or around the Internet. The products ease of use, detailed information and enhancements make it worth the expense."

"These reviews in two prestigious publications underscore and validate Keynote's innovative leadership in redefining and enhancing performance benchmarking," said Umang Gupta, chairman and CEO of Keynote. "With the release of Web Site Perspective 6.0 Keynote continues its commitment to provide e-business performance management services which enable the enterprise to save money, grow online revenue, maintain customer loyalty."
