SAN MATEO, Calif., — September 28, 2004 — Keynote Systems (Nasdaq: KEYN), the worldwide leader in e-business performance management services, announced today that with the completion of its acquisition of Vividence, the leader in Web-based customer research, the company’s Global Internet Performance Conference (GIPC), scheduled for October 25 at the Westin New York at Times Square, will offer additional sessions specifically designed for marketing executives responsible for the online channel. The action-packed day will also include during a luncheon ceremony the announcement of the winners of this year’s Keynote Performance Awards for the fastest and most reliable Web sites in e-commerce, travel & hospitality and e-government. Senior executives from the winning organizations will be on hand to accept their awards.

Keynote recognizes that the drivers for e-business performance include critical issues and challenges relevant to both IT and marketing executives. The Keynote conference reflects this and offers attendees two tracks: one for IT executives and one for marketing executives.
