SAN MATEO, Calif., – May 9, 2007 – Keynote Systems (Nasdaq: KEYN), the global leader in Internet and mobile test and measurement services, today announced that Jeff Kraatz has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, worldwide sales and services. Kraatz originally joined Keynote in November 2005 as vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific and within six months was promoted to vice president of sales, Americas and Asia Pacific in April of 2006. In his newly expanded role Kraatz is chartered with responsibility for Keynote’s global sales and professional service activities and for achieving the company’s overall global revenue goals. Keynote’s country sales managers in the various regions of Europe will report directly to Kraatz. Prior to Kraatz’s promotion European country managers reported to Haran Sold, Keynote’s former vice president of Europe, who recently resigned to pursue other opportunities.

During the course of his career Kraatz has held a variety of senior management positions, including those at Octel
Communications, where he built successful channel programs and ran national accounts operations. While based in Hong Kong he built Octel into a mature service provider market leader in Asia for five years prior to an acquisition by Lucent Technologies. Kraatz has also been vice president of worldwide sales for Caspian Networks, and CEO of two e-commerce businesses. He has over 25 years of management experience in pioneering and scaling technology businesses that serve enterprise, Internet and service provider operations.
