Performance Index: Banking - US
The Keynote Banking Performance Index measures the total execution time and success rate for logging into an account and checking the account balance at selected US banking Web sites. Measurements are collected from the ten largest U.S. metropolitan areas (Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.) on high-speed links attached to key points on the largest U.S. Internet Service Provider (ISP) backbones.
The sites that appear in the Keynote Banking Performance Index were selected based on publicly available market-share information published in The Wall Street Journal and other reliable industry sources.
