Keynote Unveils Details of 2000 Global Internet Performance
Conference Scheduled for September 6-8
Internet Event is World's Largest Focused on Improving
Web-Site Performance
SAN MATEO, California, July 11, 2000 - Keynote (Nasdaq:
KEYN), The Internet Performance Authority®, today
announced details of its 2000 Global Internet Performance
ConferenceTM which will be held September 6-8, 2000
at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. The conference
will provide an in-depth look at the technologies,
practices and trends driving exemplary e-commerce quality
of service necessary to companies operating e-commerce
and other business-critical Web sites.
The Keynote 2000 Global Internet Performance Conference
features technical and business sessions discussing
the most-current information and techniques for optimizing
Web-site performance. Conference tracks will be led
by the industry's top visionaries including Paul Saffo
of the Institute for the Future, who will share his
thoughts for the future of e-commerce and Marty Abbott,
Vice President of Technology for eBay, with a session
devoted to the essentials for building high-performance
e-commerce Web sites. Other keynote addresses will
be delivered by Peter Sevcik, President of NetForecast,
on predicting the performance and market impact of
new technologies and David Cowan, Managing General
Partner of Bessemer Venture Partners, chairing a panel
on future investment directions for the venture capital
community as they relate to Web-site speed and reliability
issues.
This year's conference sessions are designed for Web-site
operators and engineers to learn how to maximize e-commerce
revenues through a high-performance Web site and covers
a broad range of performance topics from pre-deployment
load testing to the architecture of the Internet and
how it affects Web-site performance. The conference
includes hands-on training sessions and will preview
future technology directions of Keynote services.
The conference will consist of a Technology Track,
a Case Study Track and a Keynote track. A sample of

The Case Study Track will feature presentations by
leading e-commerce companies and experts discussing
key challenges, strategies and solutions for delivering
top Web-site performance to customers.

first Keynote Authorized Data Analyst (KADA) training
course in the same place and time as the Global Performance
