Transaction Perspective: Third Party Monitoring

The Virtual Pages option for Transaction Perspective allows you to monitor ads and other third-party content and easily perform content exclusion from any Web page to measure and alarm against only specific content of interest.

If your web pages consist of 3rd party content such as banners served up by ad servers or content from CDNs, then the ability to filter specific content from Web pages and monitor it separately lets you identify poorly performing Web page components. Results from Virtual Pages appear in MyKeynote, our Web operations portal, and are treated the same as any other Web pages—meaning you can create graphs, reports, and alerts for them.

With virtual pages you can:

  • Report and alert on performance/availability of page components by domain, URL, content type and more

  • Reduce time to triage and troubleshoot performance issues

  • Send alerts and reports to specific "owners" of particular content

  • Receive alerts when third-party providers violate agreed-to performance SLAs

  • Track ongoing performance of specific content of interest
