Flexible and Powerful Web Performance Monitoring Tailor-Made for the NOC An online travel company wanting to ensure that the performance of its website was meeting customers’ expectations turned to Keynote to monitor site performance.
From multiple locations on Keynote’s global test & measurement network the travel company used Keynote Application Perspective to monitor end-to-end performance of critical Web applications. Since the applications involve travel bookings, the company decided to monitor from each location every 5 minutes to ensure that the slightest performance problem was quickly detected and resolved. When any part of the Web application fell below pre-configured thresholds for availability or response time, such as DNS lookup or first byte download time, the NOC team was able to immediately identify, notify, diagnose and resolve the performance issues.
